As a woman looking for the man of your life, you always try to live up to men's expectations. What men don't like isn't that easy to say.

You're supposed to be one of the guys, natural beauty is appreciated, and his friends should like the potential partner too. But what don't men like? What mistakes do we women make again and again, pushing our partner further and further away?

What men don't like - a tightrope walk

Women should emphasize their natural beauty; most men don't like too much makeup. Women are welcome to show their tomboy side, but if a woman behaves like a man, it rubs the lords of creation the wrong way.
So for us ladies, it's an enormous tightrope walk to always live up to the gentleman's wishes.

What men don't like

Men don't like women who behave vulgarly
Burping women, ladies who turn into party monsters after a few beers and throw themselves at men, loudly swearing ladies who make even the toughest man blush.
Women are still the weaker sex today and should keep themselves under control even in tricky situations.
Sure, women are allowed to let loose once in a while, but a girlfriend who regularly embarrasses herself and behaves vulgarly doesn't appeal to men at all.

Childish women aren't sexy
Women who still act like a little girl as adults don't go over well with most men. Ladies who still keep their stuffed-animal collection on the bed, who speak in a squeaky voice and try to get their wishes granted with an exaggerated flutter of the eyelashes, just annoy men.
The naive dumb blonde is long out of fashion. Men want women who find solutions to their own problems and can prove themselves. Being asked for advice now and then is something men like too, but a clueless blonde who always depends on other people's help doesn't go over well with almost any man.

What men don't like when you put him under pressure

When women ask themselves, "What don't men like?", "putting pressure on him" often comes to light. Even before a relationship begins, many flirtations fail because the woman (unconsciously) puts pressure on the man. She talks about a relationship early on, at a stage when the man isn't even sure yet whether he actually likes the woman.

What men don't like

Later, arguments often come up over important topics like moving in together, marriage or family planning. In a loving relationship, women usually feel ready for the next step sooner, while the man still feels secure in the good situation and wants to enjoy it undisturbed for the time being.
When the woman then starts planning the wedding or is already musing over the kids' names, the man feels put under heavy pressure and sooner or later will break out of the relationship.
