When a man and a woman marry, this love should last forever, beyond death. Every person has a need in life to find the one for life, with whom to grow old together. Psychologically speaking, everyone has the wish to spend their life with one person, but opinions differ on what forever means. First and foremost, these are words spoken in relationships that carry great weight, because these declarations of love are tied to strong emotions and great feelings. Still, no one, however much they wish it, can pin these declarations down anywhere. Love beyond death also describes the eternal. It, whatever it's called, is at first just a word. A word that has weight, but grows with the relationship. At the beginning of a relationship the word carries a different weight than at a golden wedding anniversary, where people have been together almost a whole lifetime. If people have lived through bad times with their partner, for example world wars, then these couples are closely bound together, and the word gives support, trust and security. Because you can rely on each other. At the beginning of a relationship love is only a word. It is a feeling you feel in your heart, and that's why there are no words for it. And yet the word gives a relationship a warm feeling. No one wants to do without it.
